I couldn' t find any information on the violin played by Emil Telmanyi. For this recording, he used a bow of his invention, which, by means of a very strongly curved bow stick and thanks to a mechanism allowing the player to control the string tension, made it possible to play not just two but three or even four strings at once, for sustained amounts of time.
