Note: track 1 of the second CD was unreadable by EAC, due to physical damage of the CD. Therefore I ripped the remaining tracks only and stitched them together adding track 1 from a different source (also lossless). You are welcome to judge by yourself, whether or not the quality of the final result is satisfactory for you.

@jumping: Thanks for your offer, but as I explained, the missing track is already included (I got it from a different source and then stitched it together with the other tracks of CD2).

Wow. A classic, beautiful post. I've always appreciated the Perlman-Ashkenazy readings, but will listen to this as well.

@Sudzy: maybe a temporary problem with tinypaste. Now it works fine. It's always amazing to me, some fifteen years after I bought this recording to hear how elegant and delicate the big man was. Absolutely miracolous fiddling.

Sorry. Temporary brain lapse. When you said different source, I thought you meant different recording of sonata altogether. I should have known better.
