Very interesting Chamaeleo, seems a really nice collection, do you have all other ones? Please if you can upload covers little more big again... thanks a lot.

@Arsumbrae: What does "all other ones mean?".
Regarding covers: I upload the covers that I find on the internet, for three reasons: 1) I don' t have a scanner 2) most of my physical CD's are stored in a different country from the one where I live 3) scanning entails a huge amount of work, which I'm too lazy to do!

Thank you for this! Do you think you could upload some other CDs from this series for eg. Konstantin Symeonov, Sofronitsky or Rakhlin?

@maestro: this is a blog devoted to the violin, which means that I might publish recordings by the artists you mention (conductors and pianists) only in the accompanist role. At the moment, I don' t have any recordings by them in this role though.

Thanks for the CD!!

Track 8 has erroneous info.
The Passacaglia and Fugue BWV 582 (track 8) is not Leo Weiner's orchestration. That's Ottorino Respigh's orchestration.

The producers of the CD did a mistake....

@Aggelos: thanks a lot for your comment. I corrected the information in the post. Regards.

Actually Leo Weiner has indeed orchestrated Toccata, Adagio & Fugue in C Major, BWV 564. The score was published by Universal Editions in 1930.
I knew that. So when I saw the tracklist, I thought that Leo Weiner had orchestrated the Passacaglia & Fugue as well.
But it was Respighi's orchestration afterall....

By the way, this is the only album that I know which has a recording of Bach-Weiner Toccata BWV 564. Although old recording, the whole orchestration was fascinating!.....
